Before its glory days the hotel was a small building, run by Simone Duckstein’s parents in 1938. Later people arrived in small boats when La Ponche was a small fishing bar in the beautiful city. Soon afterwards the hotel became famous in the 1950s when celebrities came to Saint-Tropez. They called it a little paradise.

The hotel was renovated by Fabrizio Casiraghi. He believed that the most important thing was that the hotel kept its vintage charm. And he delivered just that!
The rooms have large bathrooms to relax after a day at the beach. They also have adjoining rooms designed for trips with family or friends! From the balconies and terraces you can see the beautiful sea, the pink tiled paths to the village and the sails of the boats across the horizon.

The restaurant has a new design by chef Thomas Danigo. He creates original recipes from local products inspired by the south of France. The dining room is stunning with amazing handmade paintings that represent Saint-Tropez and the famous thirteen desserts of the Provençal tradition.
