The philosophy of Le Club 55 is simple and appealing. As they say at this beach restaurant, “The client isn’t king. Because the client is a friend.” A friend with a sunny, big smile.
Blending with the landscape
This restaurant is on the beach, the famous Ramatuelle of Saint-Tropez. It blends with the landscape, thanks to both its colors and the menu. You can take your shoes off and eat with your feet sinking on the sand.
The garden is lush, filled with tall plants that provide shade during the hot summer lunches. The decorations of the tables have a blue hue that pairs with the sky and the with the color of the Cote d’Azur. As the name suggests, blue is king.
The woodwalk that crosses and passes the restaurant takes you from the sundecks of the beach to the low sofas of Le Club 55. You can rent a lounge chair by the sea and then grab a cocktail at the restaurant. Every pleasure is only a few steps away.
The menu of Le Club 55
You are right in front of the Mediterranean Sea, so seafood reigns. You can pick the daily catch, fresh and deliciously cooked on the grille. Or the big prawns. Meat lovers can enjoy the pizza with cheese and ham or the refreshing salad with goat cheese.
There are many vegetarian options too. The Pamplona salad includes Camone tomatoes and cheese, while the steamed artichoke comes with a delicious, secret sauce. One of the signature dishes is the one with the “cruditè,” which is an enormous vegetable platter.
For dessert, you can enjoy chocolate gateau with ice cream. It screams of summer on the French Riviera.
The Le Club 55 is one of the most popular and oldest destinations in Saint-Tropez. It was established in 1995 and it’s been passed down by generations of the same family. Everyone in town can point you to this delicious and cozy place, right by the blue Mediterranean Sea.
