Formerly a gallery, Atelier September Copenhagen is situated right in the center of Copenhagen. The restaurant’s chef and creator Frederik Bille Brahe has been making light and good quality food since 2013 thereby keeping the Atelier food spirits alive for almost a decade with their Scandinavian, European, and Danish cuisine.
A tiny open kitchen.
The restaurant’s kitchen is small and can be seen from behind the counter. What they have done in such a small place is amazing. The artistic decorations and the setup of the restaurant are very pretty. Hence, if you are a fan of art and would like to see something artistic, this is surely the place for you.
The restaurant has quirky pottery and cutlery. Consequently, the food presentation is not too shabby in itself. The restaurant’s atmosphere is cozy with a hint of homeliness lingering around.
Atelier September Copenhagen’s menu is simple but heavenly.
The chef’s coffee is amazingly tasty. Savor the smell of a freshly brewed pot along with the warmth of the cup. Either sit outside or get yourself a table inside the restaurant. Whatever suits your mood.
Atelier has a small menu but be it lunch or breakfast the dishes always pack a punch. The restaurant’s Avocado tarter is very popular amongst the customers thus is a definite recommendation. The breakfast is good. The avocadomad with iced tea is worth a shot! Prepared the Danish way the ingredients are always fresh and healthy. Additionally, it is vegetarian-friendly and gluten-free. The restaurant’s herbal tea is pretty relaxing furthermore has great taste and smell!
The restaurant does not have a bathroom though. You might want to keep that in mind before visiting. Nonetheless, the food is great and the service is good. You haven’t really seen the whole city if you didn’t go to Atelier September Copenhagen!
