When you enter 893 Ryotei, it’s like entering a whole different world! One moment you’re standing in front of an unreliable, mirrored building covered in graffiti. The very next minute you walk into a luxurious restaurant!
Decorated with marble countertops and a theatrical open kitchen and bar. The ‘893’ part of this restaurant’s name is Japanese gangster slang for a losing hand in cards. From the outside, the restaurant looks like the part of a city you should never go near. But once inside, you will never see it the same way again!
893 Ryotei is a Mysterious Restaurant
Duc Ngo is the chef and owner of this amazing place. Never before has a restaurant held such significance! The chef has several well-known restaurants in the capital of Germany such as Funky Fish, Next to Kuchi, Cocolo Ramen, and Golden Phoenix. 893 Ryotei also serves South American food such as Mexican style.
You will not only see South American dishes on the menu but also Japanese food! Duc Ngo is no stranger to Japanese cuisine. His sushi chef even calls him “one of the best in Germany”. This restaurant uses the freshest fish such as squid, eel, and salmon available in Berlin and makes the best seafood in town.
On the menu, you will find dishes such as Tako this is the Chef’s Recommendation. It is a wonderfully spiced mix of warm octopus, tomato, avocado, and sesame oil. The Nasu Ponzu is also highly recommended. This dish unites eggplant, ginger, radish, and ponzu sauce in a way you can only dream of!
Try the Favorite of The Guests
The interior is mysterious with a touch of elegance. Take a glass of a nice bottle of Sake and enjoy the culinary journey with gourmet dishes. You also can’t leave this place until you’ve tried the Corazon veal heart skewers. This is the guests’ favorite and they keep coming back for it. A must-have on the menu! The kitchen team prepares this Peruvian snack exactly as it should be! Heavenly!
