Ohla Barcelona is a unique boutique hotel, with artistic, ceramic eyes created by artist Antoni Cumella, to fill the exterior. The beauty starts from the outside, since this is a historic building. The sculptor Frederic Amat designed the neo-classic façade, which perfectly merges with the Gothic Quarter.
It’s time to move inside. In fact, the interior design and decorations of this hotel are just as artsy. Artist Samuel Salcedo produced 18 white faces with 18 different expressions of the human face. Its’ white ceramics on black walls, a special contrast of colors and feelings.
Furthermore, a spiral staircase will welcome you. It’s a great Instagrammable spot. The artist Joan Priego created a masterpiece of wood which represents the satire of contemporary man. Certainly: this is a special hotel.

Chef Romain Fornell created the menu of the hotel’s restaurant, the Caelis. It gained a Michelin star, so the quality is a guarantee. You can pick among five different culinary spaces.
